House of Assembly aspirant, Ishaq Asuku Ilyas has expressed satisfaction with the local government congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi.

Asuku made this known on Saturday after the congress that took place at the party secretariat along Kabba Junction.

He commended APC faithful for their “maturity, peaceful disposition and the orderly manner the congresses was conducted.”

He noted that the atmosphere was peaceful, devoid of violence and done in a most friendly manner.
According to him, “The APC has once again risen to the occasion and proven to be a party of choice for Adavians and Kogi central senatorial district at large. Our members displayed maturity and shamed apostles of doom.”

He further wished the elected Local government party executive success in their new assignment charge them to be agents of new direction.

A House of Assembly aspirant from Adavi state constituency, Hon Ishaq Ilyas Asuku has urged residents of Adavi local government within the voting age to get their permanent vote’s card (PVC) during the current continuous voters registration.
Asuku made the call on Monday at a meeting of all the executive members of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adavi local government.
He urged party stakeholders present and other party faithfuls to humbly participate fully in the ongoing votes registration.
The house of assembly hopeful said this would enable the ruling party and the new direction administration at the state level to have overwhelming support for its candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He urged party faithfuls from state, local government and down to ward level to see themselves as one family under the umbrella of the new direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
“Let’s endeavor to register and get our PVC. We can only defeat our opponents with our cards, the PVC is your power, my power, our power,” he said.
The APC stakeholders gathered to plan ahead for the next year general election, most especially the second term ambition of Gov. Bello.
An aspirant vying to represent Adavi constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly  under the ruling  All progressive congress (APC), Hon Ishaq Asuku Iliyas has vowed to transform his constituency and protect the interest of Adavians if elected.

Hon Iliyas who made the promise during a courtesy visit to Elder Momohjimoh Isah at his residence, said he will be a good representative of the people of Adavi constituency at the state House of Assembly.
 
He expressed readiness to offer purposeful representation to Adavians and Kogi state at large if voted, promising to sponsor bills that have direct impact on the people.

On his part, Elder Momojimoh Isah expressed his gladness over the visit by Hon Ishaq Asuku Iliyas and his campaign team, describing the aspiring lawmaker as capable and reliable.

In his words, "the son of the soil has  antecedents which speak  volume of him."
 
He assured him of his unflinching support, promising to put political machineries in place to garner support for the aspiration.

The youths of Adavi local government of Kogi state have endorsed Hon, Ishaq Asuku Ilyas as the preferred candidate for 2019 House of Assembly election to represent Adavi state constituency.
Comrade Muhammed Itopa, the leader of thee youth group, along side members of his executive council in an interview expressed satisfaction that a House of Assembly aspirant has finally emerged for Adavi constituency.

He said Hon Asuku is a young and promising leader who does not only has his people in mind, but also knows their plights.

“He is a visionary leader that will bring empowerment initiatives for the youths of Adavi constituency in terms of education, portable water, technology, skills acquisitions and free health care to mention but few. He is a man that sees everyone in Adavi as one.

“He is the man who we believe has the exposure at this point in time to take Adavi constituency to the next developmental level,” he said.
